2025 Bulk Water Treatment Chemicals Reverse Auction Results in the State of Kentucky

eBridge hosted a reverse auction event in the state of Kentucky for Bulk Chemicals. 11 vendors participated in the reverse auction, resulting in over 480+ lowering bids. eBridge continues to be the leader at creating competitive bid environments using reverse auction in the United States.

Bulk Chemicals Bid Results

  • 11 Vendors
  • 490 Lowering Bids
  • 176 First Place Turnovers
  • Lowest Spread between 1st - 2nd Place Vendors was 0.13%

The chemicals involved in the reverse auction included: Hydrofluosilicic Acid 23-25%, Sodium Hypochlorite, Calcium Hydroxide, Polymer - Tanker, Polymer - Totes, Aluminum Sulfate, Aqueous Ammonia 19%, Peracetic Acid, Corrosion and Odor Control, and Sewer Line Stripper.

This reverse auction event lasted for 1 hour and 52 minutes, which allowed the water utility to receive competitive bids for all line items. Because of the heightened vendor competition, the first-place vendor changed176 times during the live bidding.

Reverse auction bidding events are the only way for water utilities to achieve this level of vendor competition. No other bid setting creates this competitive of a bid environment to help public entities find true market pricing.

eBridge is continuing to expand the use of reverse auction in public procurement across the United States. If you would like to see other results we've brought to water utilities across the United States, please view previous results here.
