This reverse auction event lasted 56 minutes which allowed the city's utility department to receive 858 lowering bids. The lowest difference between the 1st and 2nd place vendor was .05%. Anytime this number is below 2%, eBridge considers the reverse auction even to be a success because we know we've found current market pricing.

Reverse auction bidding events are the only way for water utilities to achieve this level of vendor competition. And with market pricing fluctuating, it's the best method to receive bids as close to current market pricing as possible.

eBridge is continuing to expand the use of reverse auction in public procurement across the United States.
