Position Overview
eBridge is searching for a full-time sales professional in the Louisville, KY area to create new sales opportunities for On-Line Reverse Auction Services. Manager will expand on an existing client base in Indiana and Ohio and will also secure new clients by offering "best practices" procurement services to public and private entities. You are a great fit for our team if you like to combine excellent listening skills with an outgoing personality to win new clients. You must be comfortable making phone calls every day, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales. If you enjoy talking to people and helping educate them on a new technology and service, this is for you!
Position Responsibilities and Requirements
- Create new sales opportunities through prospecting
- Develop relationships with current Indiana and Ohio clients
- Research clients, identify key players and generate interest
- Maintain a database of all sales and prospecting activities
- Deliver effective online presentations to prospects
- Stay up to date with industry knowledge, trends and market developments
- Some travel to Indiana and Ohio
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years professional sales or procurement experience
- Strong phone presence and experience making calls everyday
- Proficient with web presentation tools
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Intermediate Word, Excel & Power Point skills
- Direct business-to-business/complex-sales experience desired
- Experience working with government entities or in government procurement a plus
- Bachelor’s degree
