Position Description

Title: Business Development Manager                                                 Reports to: President
Department: Sales                                                                                 Territory: Various States in USA 

Position Overview

eBridge is searching for a full-time sales professional to create new opportunities for our web-based Reverse Auction Services. Manager will prospect, present and secure new clients by offering our procurement services to public agencies. A great fit for our team is someone who has superior listening and communication skills with an outgoing personality. You must be comfortable making calls, generating interest, and qualifying prospects. If you enjoy educating people about something new, this is the job for you!

Position Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Create new sales through outbound calls and emails to prospects
  • Convert leads to clients through building strong relationships 
  • Research clients, identify key players, and generate interest
  • Achieve a personal quota foal and contribute to overall team success
  • Maintain a CRM database of all sales and prospecting activities
  • Deliver effective online presentations to prospects and/or assist with presentation preparation
  • Stay up to date with industry knowledge, trends and market developments

Essential Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Strong phone presence and experience making dozens of calls per day 
  • Proficient with web-based presentation tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Direct business-to-business/complex-sales experience desired
  • Experience working with government entities or in government procurement a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree
